Join your Middlesex District Dental Society colleagues for an in-person meeting with a lecture on infection prevention and control.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed dental health care delivery. This course will review the current interim infection prevention and control guidelines. Strategies and resources for implementing current guidance will be described. Considerations for post-pandemic infection prevention and control will be discussed.

Learning Objectives:
-Describe interim infection prevention and control guidance for dentistry
-Identify strategies and resources for implementation and evaluation 
-Discuss implications for dental infection prevention and control post COVID-19 

Kathy Eklund, RDH, MHP, is Sr. Director of Occupational Health & Safety and the Forsyth research subject and patient safety advocate at The Forsyth Institute. She is adjunct faculty at the Regis College dental hygiene program, where she teaches a senior-level course Evidence-Based Decision Making.
