Event Overview

It has been well established that the success of implant dentistry is dependent on both the quality of the treatment and the quality and proper selection of its subsequent restorative material. This synergism particularly beneficial to the integrity of the implant and its long-term survival.

The primary objective of this presentation is to equip clinicians with the knowledge to make informed decisions when choosing restorative materials for implant restorations, employing a clinical and evidence-based approach. With advancements in materials, technologies, and techniques, dental implant treatments have witnessed remarkable improvements in predictability, durability, and esthetics, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. These advancements now offer patients the benefits of more precise implant placement, reduced healing times, and enhanced aesthetics. As we continue to witness progress in the field, implant dentistry will undoubtedly continue to advance, empowering dentists to deliver even more exceptional results for patients.

Speaker Bio

Dr. Roya Zandparsa is a Clinical Professor and Biomaterials Course Director at the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Vice President of Innovation, Training, and Development at Qualitas Dental Partners Organization, the Founder & CEO of Expert Dental Advisory, the President Elect of The American Association of Women Dentists, the Past President of American Academy of Dental Science, and a Lecturer at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Roya Zandparsa received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Master of Science in Biomaterials & Biomimetics and Certificate in Prosthodontics from New York University Graduate School of Arts and Science and New York University College of Dentistry, respectively. She completed a fellowship in Implant Dentistry from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, a fellowship in Academic Leadership from American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Leadership Institute, and obtained few certificates in advanced surgical implant Dentistry, Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economics from Harvard Business School (HBS), and a certificate in Innovation Process from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
